ADDICTIONS
Addiction is a chronic (lifelong) condition that involves compulsive seeking and taking of a substance or performing of an activity despite negative or harmful consequences.
Substance Abuse
The use of illegal drugs or the use of prescription or over the counter drugs or alcohol for purposes other than those for which they are meant to be used, or in excessive amounts.
Substance abuse may lead to social, physical, emotional, and job-related problems.
Alcohol
When you can’t stop drinking even it puts your health and relationships at risk.
Food
A behavorial addiction in which a person becomes reliant on the dopamine release that occurs when eating.
A person with a food addiction eats emotionally and is unable to stop their behavior despite negative conquences.
Shopping
A type of behavior addiction, described as an excessive and overwhelming desire to make purchases that ultimately lead to negative repercussions.
Social Media
An excesive use of social media platforms, where a person feels an uncontrollable urge to log on and engage with the plaforms, often to the point where it negativtively impacts their dailly life, relationships, and responsibilities, essentially becoming a behavioral addiction that disrupts important areas of functioning like work or studies.
DYSFUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Unhealthy patterns of interaction, including poor communication, lack of trust, consistent conflict, emoitonal manipulation, power imbalances, and an inability to resolve issues constructively, often leaving one or both partners feeling drained, disrespected, and unhappy.
Domestic Abuse
A pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner.
Domestic violence can be physical, sexual, emotional, spiritual, economic, psychological, or technological actions or threats of actions.
Enmeshment
A relationship system where members are expected to think, feel, and believe certain ways, based upon spoken or unspoken rules for interaction.
Codependency
A relationship with excessive emotional reliance on others and struggling with boundaries. It is rooted in trauma, neglect, or substance abuse and can lead to low self-worth, stress, and identity loss.
Emotion Unavailability
A behaviorial condition in which someone doesn’t respond to emotional needs or cues in a relationship, and has persistent difficulty expressing or handling emotions and getting emotionally close to others.
ADOLESCENT TREATMENTS
Includes counseling, therapy, and other interventions that help adolescents cope with substance abuse, and emotional and behaviorial difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and body dysphoria.
Substance Abuse
The overindulgence of alcohol, illegal drugs, over-the-counter drugs, etc. that can be inhaled, injected, smoked, snorted, swallowed, providing a temporary psychological change in the body.
Behavorial Issues
A pattern of disruptive, defiant, or inappropriate behaviors in children and adolescents that are persistent, significantly impacting their ability to function at home, school, or in social settings, and are considered not typical for their age or developmental level.
Eating Disorders
Behaviorals associated with body dysmorphia, restrictive eating or avoidance of certain foods, binge eating, purging by vomiting or laxative misuse or compulsive exercise, which results in harmful and/or negative consequences.
Self-Injury
A form of deliverate self-injury to any part of the body, such as by cutting or burning, scratching, hitting, banging their heads, pulling their hair, pinching their skin to cope with emotional pain, intense anger and stress.

With well-defined objectives, Wil creates a personalized plan for each client to better navigate the challenges of addiction recovery and build a foundation for lasting sobriety.

Empowerment and self-determination are key principles in the recovery coaching process.
Wil aims to foster independence and confidence by coaching his clients to trust in their own abilities and develop the confidence needed to navigate challenges.
